a national park, an exceptional territory
Created in 1979, the Mercantour National Park is a space of incredible natural richness. It is he who inspired the name we chose for our events, which take place almost entirely in this massif. The Mercan'Tour Bonette even has the particularity of crossing it in its heart for more than 60km in the passes of La Bonette and La Cayolle, a unique thing in France. This also gives us an important requirement regarding the protection and respect of this space!
Its wild and preserved character, its peaks at more than 3000m diving towards the sea in the background an exceptional place for cycling.

The Mercan'Tour Granfondo events are designed to promote the wonderful region of the Alpes-Maritimes and the Mercantour. That's why we try to work as locally as possible, promoting our businesses and suppliers.
LA MERCAN'tour classic a-M
In 2021, the Mercan'Tour team embarked on the great adventure of professional racing. Guillaume Martin, Jakob Fuglsang and Richard Carapaz have all won the first 3 editions of this event.
